It ships as a native desktop build rather than another browser tab — an Electron client packaged for Linux, MIT licensed, currently at 0.1.1. The web side at xwire.us carries the profiles.
It is early, and deliberately narrow: the things you actually do with the people you play with, without the noise that usually comes attached.
